Mangalore, December 22, 2009: The inauguration of the new Tata Docomo Dive-In store took place today at 12:00 PM today. The Dive-In store is situated in the Essel Tower, surrounded by famous educational institutions of the city.
This is the first Dive-In store in the city. Tata Docomo teleservices are quiet famous with the college going crowd due to its unique offers.
When I heard about it I rushed to the store with my camera. I clicked few pictures. But later encountered a guy of the Dive-In store who made me delete all the pics of the event and gave Policy reasons and told me not to publish the news article as the company doesnt want publicity from the local media. They give press releases only selected media itseems. What ever it is if the people of Mangalore are NOT what you target then whom do you want to target?
What ever policy you have! Remember ultimately customer relationship is what you have to build to make your place in the hearts of the people. So much and not even an invite for the event ! Very rude !Once you get negative publicity among the students then its problem ! I have made up my mind not to enter the store again. Atleast not till those people are around
Whatever it is I have no problems with the brand whatsoever.
